Greengairs Highland Bothies are self-catering, pet friendly, holiday cottages nestled in the hillside, 3 miles off a single track road at the foot of the Highlands, yet only 7 minutes to the nearest towns; Blairgowrie and Alyth . Within 50 miles of Edinburgh airport and half an hour to either Perth or Dundee Railway stations, we are accessible by road, rail and air..
Situated on the Cateran trail, a 64 mile circular walk through the most spectacular Scottish wilderness, the Bothies are ideal for walking, cycling, fishing , golf and many more outdoor pursuits . We are equally well situated to: visit many tourist attractions, visit picturesque towns , find shopping opportunities, children’s activities and what to do on rainy days (many of the tourist attractions, shopping opportunities, and children’s activities are indoors). There are also great touring routes, theatres and concert venues.

About the Bothies
Our three Eco Bothies, clad in locally sourced Dunkeld Larchwood, offer luxurious holiday accommodation for couples and families to come and enjoy the great outdoors and sample the beauty of Scotland on their doorstep.
Set on a hill farm overlooking the Strathmore Valley, the three Bothies, with their lovely spacious windows, frame panoramic views and make this a perfect place to stay. There are only three Bothies spread across the entire farm; you will love dining outside on your own private decking.
All the Bothies have been designed and built by our family as a modern twist on the old meaning of a Bothy. They are unique, with great attention to detail. We have endeavoured to make our Bothies as Eco friendly as we can. We want to offer you the most memorable experience and to create happy memories.
Edradour and Fettercairn bothies
These two Bothies are identical, they are 1 bedroomed with a king sized bed; they have their own, chemical free, Swedish Skarguard Wood fired Hot tub filled with sparkling mineral water sourced from 140ft beneath your feet. Enjoy relaxing in the hot tub soaking up the heat with a glass in hand, stars above and soft music playing.
Dalmore Bothy
Brand new for 2022, the secluded Dalmore Bothy has been designed differently; instead of a hot tub it has a huge outside living space and two bedrooms, designed more for couples or families. Dalmore is a 2 bedroom bothy with the master bedroom containing a luxurious king sized bed and the other bedroom a double/single bunk bed.
The fully surrounding deck has panoramic south facing views of the Strathmore valley, or if you prefer, the other side has a quiet small stream running by.
Relax whilst the kids let off steam in the private play space and enjoy a wee dram in the evenings after a day of many local activities.
This new 5-star pet friendly Bothy also benefits from a bright large living space and the wood burning stove makes it a very special and cosy place to spend evenings.

Adjacent to the spacious modern bathroom with walk in shower, your luxurious king size bed awaits with crisp linen sheets and exquisite soft furnishings to make a perfect end to your day.
