Perthshire has many small towns and villages which have vibrant High Streets and unique shops.
The village of Dunkeld (left) is a great example of this with historic buildings, tiny one off specialist shops and great cafes. Pitlochry and Blairgowrie are great towns, close to the bothies, also with great shops and cafes.
Pitlochry offers a rich clan history , a great shopping experience, fine dining and lots to see and do .Pitlochry Festival Theatre , Pitlochry Highland Games and The salmon Ladder are all worth a visit .
Our local Market town of Blairgowrie situated on the river Ericht entices you with busy cafes, delicious home baking , fine dining and interesting shops.

Dubbed ‘The Harrods of the North‘ the House of Bruar will not disappoint you !
It boasts a fine diversity of goods of every description to buy , a delicious food hall and café and restaurant . Not one to be missed .
Peel Farm & Wee Bear Café
Both Peel Farm and the Wee Bear Café are close to the village of Lintrathen and within easy driving or cycling distance.
Make sure you visit the wonderful café and shop at Peel Farm, with many interesting crafts and local Scottish goods on sale .
The Wee Bear Café is a great place to refuel on your bike ride or travels with homemade delicious lunches and naughty cakes.
The Lair - Glenshee (previously Wee house of Glenshee)
The Wee House of Glenshee is situated 12 miles north of Blairgowrie at the start of the Cairngorm National Park and the 90 mile Snow Road route. There is a team room, gift shop, and visitors centre.
City Shopping
In addition to the small towns, villages and specialist shopping experiences, there are many shops and places to visit in Perth (left) and Dundee, which are both within easy reach of the bothies.
